En post anteriores hemos conocido la nueva tecnología gestual. ¿Pero cómo funciona realmente?,¿Es posible verla ya en funcionamiento?. El siguiente video presenta una simulación del Simulador de Vitrocerámicas de control Gestual desarrollado por AHS Technology. El él se ve cómo con movimientos del ratón (síiiii, el ratón también es gestual 😉 ) emulando a la mano se controlarían las distintas funciones de ésta. Nuestra tecnología gestual emplea campos eléctricos como medio de detección de movimientos y velocidades. No usa cámaras ni procesamiento de imágenes, ni sensores fotoeléctricos, ni barreras de luz, ni sensores de ultrasonidos. Internamente se compone de un potente DSP para el procesado de señales en tiempo real, para detectar micro variaciones en el campo eléctrico, y computar así posiciones, movimientos y velocidades. Con estos datos procesados se extraen los patrones de movimientos deseados, actuando y ejecutando así los comandos. Nuestro sensor gestual no genera interferencias EMI y es compatible con las más exigentes normativas en materia de Interferencias electromagnéticas.
La formas y tamaños dependen de la aplicación del cliente. El área mínima va desde los 1.75cm2 hasta infinito de placa PCB (placa de circuito impreso) que aloja los componentes SMD. Esos 1.75cm2 son el área mínima requerida por la circuitería electrónica del sensor. Puede ser plano cómo una alfombrilla de ratón o con forma tridimensional, cómo un cubo de rubik por ejemplo.
